As a B2B business, DuPont needed to think outside of the box to build greater brand awareness and acceptance at the community level. Thus was born the Scientist of the Month series. Lallo Communications interviewed and photographed scientists in their environments, produced profiles for the DuPont website and magazine, and then pitched the featured scientists to trade, hometown and alum print outlets in the pre-Social Media era. Today, in the post-reading era, these stories would also be distributed through e-letter and broadcast news with a STEM and employment spin.
